Formerly
called Ching Teh Chen, Jingdezhen is
a synonym for Chinese porcelains. It
has been the home of fine china
since Jinde period (1004 to 1007) of
Song Dynasty and its history traces
back to the East Han Dynast, 1800
years ago. Ceramics museums and
ancient kiln site tell you its
splendour spanning the centuries. A
short visit to nWuyuan Town brings
unexpected excitement of exploring
untouched ancient villages.

Fly to
Jingdezhen. Upon arrival, be met &
transferred to KaiMenZi Grand Hotel.
Drive 2.5 hours to Wuyuan, a
historical township surrounded by
untouched ancient villages. You will
visit Xiaoqi Village and Li Ken
Village which boast breathtaking
natural scenery, well-maintained
ancient houses and special folk
customs. Dating back to the Tang
dynasty (618-907), the villages’
bluestone-slab paved paths, artfully
carved windows, unique horse-head
walls and old ancestral halls will
feast your eye. Stay tonight at
KaiMenzi Grand Hotel.

Today have
a visit of the Ancient Cramic Kiln
and Museum of Ceramic History where
we will visit the old kiln house
seeing the general procedure of
ceramics making. After lunch we will
visit Ceramics Museum, Museum of
Royal Ceramics and Jiayang Ceramics
Company which produces high-quality
ceramics and displays some masters’
work. For the rest of time, we will
spend time at ceramics market before
transferring to the airport for
flight back.
