Pingya, with 2700 year of history is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in China. In 1997, it formally added to the list of World Heritage by the UN. Its many beautiful courtyards, typical house culture of Shanxi, old alleys and many other outstanding architecture enable you to step into a bygone era.

Day 01ARRIVE TAIYUAN
Fly to Taiyuan.
Upon arrival, met & transfer to World Trader hotel. Have a good rest ready for tomorrow’s wonderful trip.

Day 02TAIYUAN/PINGYAO
After breakfast, drive 2 hours to Pingyao. Check into a local style courtyard hotel. Visit Shuanglin Temple, City Wall, Ri Sheng Chang Finacial House; after lunch, visit Ming-Qing street, Courtyard Residence.

Day 03PINGYAO/DEPART TAIYUAN
This morning, we will spend some more time exploring this old town before we drive back to Taiyuan. En route, we will visit the Qiao Family’s Compound.
Transfer to airport for flight out.
