Dear Mr. Dzung:
Thank you for copying me on your
letter to Dr. Ajit Mehta. My
wife and I concur with Dr. Mehta (my
brother-in-law) that our trip to
Vietnam and Cambodia was a big
success, fantastic and beyond our
expectation. Sincere thanks to you
for organizing our trip.
Without your professionalism, care
and proper planning of our
itinerary, our visit might not have
been successful. Every one
enjoyed the visits to various
beautiful places in Vietnam and
Cambodia. We wished we had 4
to 5 extra days in Cambodia.
There is so much to see in this
country. Just for one-day stay
in Siem Riep, the time was not
enough. However, whatever
beautiful temples we saw in a day
were breathtaking. We will try to
come again to Vietnam and
Cambodia---next time we will allow
more time in Cambodia.
We certainly will recommend your
company and your services to some of
our friends in the USA who might be
visiting Vietnam and Cambodia in
future.
Most likely I might visit Saigon and
Hanoi on business some time in
April, 2005. We met with a few
companies in these two cities, which
have expressed interest in our
company’s products.
Here are some of the highlights of
our trip:
*Our itinerary was perfectly
planned.
*There were no problems at the Hanoi
and Siem Riep airports for our
visas. The procedures were simple
and smooth.
*We found Vietnamese and Cambodian
people very friendly, cheerful and
helpful.
*The minibuses you had rented for us
were comfortable, clean and the
drivers were careful and excellent.
*All the four tour guides, Mr. Long
in Hanoi, Mr. Tru in Danang/Dalat/Hoi,
Mr. Luc in HCM City and Mr. Wong in
Siem Riep were very good. They
were congenial and genuinely took
interest in our trip. They
were also quite knowledgeable of the
geography and history of places we
visited.
*We really visited many interesting
places and sites in Vietnam, which
many tourists do not see all of
them. We all liked Hanoi and
Saigon very much---particularly
Saigon, which is an exciting city.
*Every one in our group did a lot of
shopping. Embroidered paintings &
tablecloths were gorgeous---every
one purchased these items from the
shops and factories we visited.
We did the big item
shopping---purchased beautiful
Rosewood 11-pieces Living Room
furniture in Ho Chi Minh City. They
will be shipped next month to
Philadelphia via ocean-freight.
*All the hotels were excellent and
comfortable. Thanks to you and
me for selecting these hotels from
the websites you sent to me.
*We certainly will recommend your
company and your service to our
friends in the USA, Canada and
Europe when they want to travel to
Vietnam/Cambodia
*When I visit your country in April,
2005, I will contact you again so
that you may make travel
arrangement, such as hotel booking,
internal plane travel, visit to
Cambodia, etc.
If and when you and your wife decide
to visit the USA, please come visit
us in Philadelphia, which is between
New York and Washington DC on the
east coast. We wish you, your
family and staff a Happy New Year.
Regards,
Kaushik Daphtary(Philadelphia, USA)

D'Zung,
Just wanted to send you an email
telling you how VERY VERY MUCH we
enjoyed our trip to Vietnam and
Cambodia. All the hotels were
FABULOUS. The Nikko in Hanoi
was ABSOLUTELY even with the
Mandarin Oriental (which we consider
to be THE BEST!).
The Vinh Hung 4 Resort in HoiAn was
marvelous. We got there during
their floor from the Typhoon - and
after the 1st day the entire resort
was flooded up to 5 feet. The
suite was great, but they then had
to move us to "higher floors."
They wanted to evacuate us, but we
insisted on staying there.
Only one other party of 3 and us
stayed; and they brought food to our
room; and, had boats take us
everywhere--because we could not
walk through the "river". They
picked us up in town and brought us
back. THE STAFF WAS
INCREDIBLE!! -- AND without the
flood, the resort is gorgeous.
The Cabana room at the Angkor
Palace Resort & Spa is BY FAR
(including Raffles--although it is
bigger) one of the most beautiful
resorts we have ever stayed at,
anywhere in the world. It is
so new, people don't know it yet!
Even some of the taxis did not know
where to take us; and it is not on
the main street, it has it's own
private road--you know, you visisted.
English at the hotel was sometimes a
problem--but the services, the food;
and the rooms were magnificent.
The New World Hotel in Saigon was
amazing. We had the suite
(which by American standards was
very inexpensive) and it was the
best. We had a living room, a
dining area, a huge bedroom; AND
2 BATHROOMS. The shower was
--THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE
IN THE WORLD --AND WE HAVE REALLY
TRAVELLED. The buffet
breakfast was enormous, with so many
kinds of food, I don't think we
tried everything, even after 6 days!
The concierge desk was the most
knowledgeable--they got us laundry
done (for $6.00) outside the hotel,
picked up and delivered--the hotel
laundry would have been nearly
$40.00! My glasses broke, and
the concierge arranged for a shop to
pick them up, fix them, and deliver
them back in 1 day - new lenses and
prescription!! Their English
was perfect, and they helped us with
EVERYTHING -- from shopping to
restaurants, spas--ABSOLUTELY
EVERYTHING.
In Hanoi, we went to the "BELLISSIMA
SPA" - WHICH HAS MOVED TO: 458
Hang Bun, Hanoi (Tele:
04-716-4672. This spa was as
perfect, clean and gorgeous as any
Spa in the states--and we did a full
half day for $45.00 -- that's 4-1/2
hours!!! It was absoluting amazing!
Individual Massages, or facials,
etc. are about $10-$15. Just
do not have a manicure/pedicure--it
just isn't their speciality--but
everything else, including all the
products used was fabulous!!!
We also went to the Shisedo Spa in
Saigon, and it was a little more
expensive, but again fabulous - with
all Shisedo products. The New
World also has a GREAT SPA.
Again, not quite as cheap--but your
room is right there....
We, again, want to thank you for ALL
YOUR HELP. You were a
marvelous agent, with great
information. Please pass these
comments on to your co-workers; and
if you send any Americans to these
hotels, THEY WILL TRULY BE AMAZED.
If and when we visit Vietnam again,
we will certainly contact you.
You were just THE BEST!!
Thank you.

Dear Dzung:
I wanted to take a moment and thank
you for arranging such a marvelous
trip to Cambodia for me. Your
patience was remarkable but even
more extraordinary were the staff
you offered. Both
guides/translators were outstanding
and provided the depth of
information and detail that moves a
vacation from the ordinary to the
extraordinary. Both guides had
a very good command of English, a
solid knowledge of the history and
culture of the region, and -- most
importantly, a sense of humor.
I have three friends who are
contemplating visiting Cambodia
within the next year and will
solidly recommend your firm to them.
My only hope is that I'll be able to
return in the near future.
Thank you again for your help and
please pass along my thanks to the
young men I worked with.

Dear Dzung,
We arrived home last Sunday,
uneventfully, and have now had time
to reflect on our trip. .
We found Vietnam a fascinating
country, we are pleased that we took
just a little longer than most
tourists in each of our three
destinations.
I was most impressed by how
industrious the Vietnamese
people are. Tourism is certainly
taking off, we have noticed that
more Australians are considering
Vietnam as destination in
Asia.
Thankyou Dzung wholeheartedly for
firstly your good advice in planning
our holiday, then the seamless way
in which you organised our tour,
everything went like clockwork, the
accommodation was excellent and the
drivers and guides you selected were
very good at their jobs.
It was an extra bonus to meet you
personally [photo attached] and chat
about your interests and the
background of your business. Di
especially enjoyed discussing the
weaving of the Hilltribe
people with you.
We naturally are more than happy to
recommend " Discovery Indochina"
to our friends and anybody
considering travel to Vietnam.
Thank you again for a most
memorable holiday.
Kind regards
Geoff and Di

hejj! : )
...already back to work and busy
again, just want to let you know
that our trip to Nha Trang was
great, enjoyed every minute of it,
food, people, artists...we didn't
want to leave, and, our next trip
will definitely be back to Vietnam.
Best regards,
anne
Dear Dzung,
Thank you so much for organising our
holiday in Vietnam. We will
certainly be back and will contact
you. We have already given your name
to a couple we met in the Pimalai
and to an Australian family.
By the way, the Pimalai was really
lovely. The Pavilion rooms were
worth paying extra and the service
at the hotel was exemplary It was a
pity that we were there at the most
expensive time of the year but as we
were really in need of a rest, we
understood we would have to pay for
it. The manager himself arranged for
his own car to pick us up in Bangkok
and take us to the best hospital
(where he arranged appointments with
the top specialists) while we were
in transit on our way back to London
(my son had an ear
infection and Michael had a tooth
problem).
In all we had 10 flights during our
trip and not a single delay. Your
management of our time was perfect.
I wish I had spent more time at the
beach in Hoian and next time would
like to try to spend time in Sapa
and by the sea in Vietnam. In fact,
we all preferred Vietnam to Thailand
as Thailand has 'industrialised'
tourism to such a degree that you
could be anywhere in the world
whereas Vietnam retains its own
identity.
Thank you for all your hard work,
and for responding even in the
middle of the night. You really do
deserve to do well and I hope that
your company goes from strength to
strength.
With kindest regards,
Linda Falter

Mr Dzung,
Thank you very much for arranging
our trip to Sapa. The train was
luxurious and comfortable. The hotel
was beautiful and restful.
Sapa and outlying villages were
magical. And, our drive back to
Hanoi smooth. We would especially
like to commend Mr Ton.
He is an excellent driver, guide and
a perfect gentleman. Thank
you.
It has been a great pleasure getting
to know your wonderful country.
We will come again!
I will be sure to pass your company
details to all our friends
and family. Thank you for the
excellent efficient service.

Dear Dzung,
Since 2 days now we´re back in
Germany and we´re really sad because
we enjoyed our trip so much! We
really thank you for the brilliant
organization - everything was just
great and well organized!
We would recommend you to everybody
who´s thinking about a trip to
Vietnam!
Now more detailed:
1. Welcome at Hanoi Airport was
fine. Nice girl to pick us up.
2. Hotel "Golden Key" for the stay
in hanoi was fine and in a good
position, just for sleeping it´s OK.
Price/Value good.
3. Trip in Halong Bay on the boot
was great!
4. Victoria Express to Sapa - very
interesting trip! Welcome was great!
Meeting with the guide there (also
Nam?)was very nice. He´s a very nice
guy with lots of knowledge about the
area. It was a very nice exprerience
to visit with him sapa area.
5. Driver from Hue to Danang was
very friendly
6. Our guide for Mekong Delta (Son?)
couldn´t be better! The 2 days in
this place have been really exciting
and he took us to places I´m
sure lots of tourists wouldn´t see
them. He was more than friendly and
we would deeply recommend him to
everybody! Nothing he could do
better! Even on our drive to the
airport to go back to Germany he
called us again to ask
if the driver arrived in time and if
everything is fine. Really great!
So, Many thanks to you again,
everything was more than fine and
maybe we will see each other again.
Have a good time,
All the best, Andrea – Germany

Hi Dzung!
My wife and I want to thank you for
the superb trip/tour (Mar.8-11) we
recently enjoyed with Discovery
Indochina. The visit to Lao Cai/Sapa
was nothing less than incredible. We
loved it.
Please convey our heartfelt thanks
to Manh, Nguyen Van, who was our
guide. He did a masterful job and it
was a pleasure meeting and
travelling with him.
Without question you have a
beautiful country.
Sincerely
Dick & Mary Hawkshaw
Chilliwack, B.C.
Canada.
Dear Dzung,
Just to let you know we arrived
safely back home and want to let you
know we thoroughly enjoyed our trip
to your country. It is a
wonderful place and I hope to return
soon. I was especially
impressed with the guide in Ho Chi
Minh who took us on the Delta tour
overnight. He was a lovely
young man and very helpful.
His name was Son. So I think its
good to let you know these things.
The guide in Middle Vietnam also was
very knowledgeable as well.
He certainly knew his history.
All in all we had a wonderful time .
I will certainly recommend you and
your country to any of my friends
travelling. I can recommend the Hoi
An Hotel very highly as well as the
Cooking School there in Hoian.
That was a highlight. The train
journey from Hanoi to Hue was great
but if you book for people of my age
perhaps you should order the lower
bunks. Luckily some young tourists
changed with us so we were able to
have the two lower berths. We also
had bought silk sleeping bags for
the train and I think that was
worthwhile so you might like to
suggest that to future clients if
they are older. people.
Anyhow just thought I would let you
know my thoughts on the trip as it
could be helpful for you in the
future. I also am considering
coming to teach English next year
Best Regards
