Itinerary in details:
Day 01: Hanoi arrival
Welcomed by driver at Noi Bai Airport (Ha noi ) and transfer
to your hotel. The rest of your time is at leisure before
starting your trip the next day.
Day 02: Hanoi city tour - night train to Sapa(B)
Today, we have full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city. You
will visit the house on - stilts of Ho Chi Minh (this is
where our uncle Ho spent the rest of his life) and the One
Pillar Pagoda (it was constructed in 1049) and the
Literature Temple (a habitual symbol of Hanoi), the Museum
of Ethnology. After lunch, pay a visit to the Hoan Kiem Lake
with its Ngoc Son temple. Continue to visit the Old Quarter
of Hanoi by cyclo.
Tonight we will take the train to Lao Cai Station (310km
northwest of Hanoi) Note : A/C soft - sleeper cabin with
wooden wall is used for night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai
and vice - versa, one of the best train to Sapa at the
present.
Day 03: Sapa tribal villages(B,L)
Arrive at Lao Cai Station at 06.00. Have a breakfast of
local foods before departing to Sapa (about 40 km from Lao
Cai). Arrival in Sapa and leave your luggage at the hotel.
We will have breakfast and embark on a lovely walk to Cat
Cat stream and waterfall, visit Cat Cat village of the Black
H'Mong to explore their routine life, walk around the
village to enjoy the scenery of forests and continue to
Sinchai village where we enjoy folk music by local people.
Return to Sapa. At leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Sapa.
Day 04: Sapa tribal villages - night train back Hanoi(B,L)
After breakfast we will take a jeep along the valley to Rose
Garden. From here we will trek into the verdant villages and
rice field to Lao Cai and Tavan villages. Ta Van is the
village in northern Vietnam inhabited by the
colorfully-dressed Dzay ethnic minority. Opportunity to
learn and see H'mong people working with natural weaving and
dying .This village is supposed to be one of the most
beautiful area in this regions. Your car will pick you up at
Tavan and take you back to Sapa.
This late afternoon, transfer to to Lao Cai station for
night train back to at 21.15. Overnight on soft sleeper
train.
Day 05: Hanoi – Halong- Hanoi (B,L)
Pick up from station for 4 hour drive through verdant Red
River Delta to Halong bay . Enjoy our cruise along the bay,
visit famous cave before coming back to Hanoi.
Day 06: Hanoi - Hue city tour(B)
Flight to Hue.
Our city tour today includes: Ancient Citadel, Dong Ba
Market ,Thien Mu pagoda ( by car), Tu Duc tomb.
Day 07: Hue- Hoian,(B)
Overland to Hoian. Check in your hotel.
Day 08: Hoian free leisure (B)
A day of leisure in Hoian.
Day 09: Hoian - Hochiminh(B)
Transfer to airport for the flight to Saigon. On arrival at
Tan San Nhat Airport, you will be met and transferred to
hotel
Day 10: Hochiminh city tour - Cuchi tunnels(B,L)
In the morning, we have a city tour around Ho Chi Minh City,
a bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern
counterpart, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk
cafés. A half day tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still
called Sai gon by many locals takes in the Notre Dame
Cathedral, Old Sai gon Post Office, a lacquer ware factory.
This afternoon, we drive to visit Cuchi tunnels.
Day 11: Mekong Delta(B,L)
Drive through the lush of vegetation to Mytho to Caibe
where we board our private boat for a cruise of Caibe
floating market, explore endless waterway of Mighty Mekong
river, see the art of bonsai and enjoy delicious
tropical fruits. We are treated to a Delta lunch in orchard
garden and then have more boat excursion to by
the Mekong river. Overnight at local house in lush
vegetation in
Mekong Delta.
Day 12: Hochiminh – Siemreap (B)
Flight to Siemreap.
Day 13: Angkor Complex(B,L)
Wake up early to view sunrise from Phnom Bakheng, one of the
two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you
will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and the
surrounding plain. Return to the hotel. Breakfast at hotel
and continue to visit of Preach Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Phrom
temple, oriental Mebon, Pre Rup temples. Lunch between
visits. In the afternoon, we will visit to group of Rolous
temples: Lolei, Preahko, Bakong. Overnight in Siemreap
Day 14:Siemreap - Bangkok (B)
Drive to Tonle Sap Lake for a lovely boat cruise to observe
life on the water. We will visit also the Land Mine Museum,
and a stone carving workshop.
Transfer to airport for your flight to Bangkok, greetings
upon arrival.
Day 15:Bangkok city tour (B)
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel followed by a half day City
and Temples Tour
Pick up from the hotel and drive through the center of
Bangkok to visit three of the most gorgeous
Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Traimitr with its
impressive three-meter tall, 5 tons heavy solid gold
Buddha image which gleams like no other gold artifact, Wat
Pho, Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple,
which features the largest reclining Buddha and the Chedi of
the kings and Wat Benchamabophit, the
Marble Temple, a prime example of modern Thai architecture.
After visiting the temples close off the tour
with a shopping trip before returning to your hotel.
Afternoon: Visit crocodile farm
Day 16:Bangkok – Chieng Mai (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from hotel to Chieng mai.
Arrive at Chiang Mai and transfer from airport to the hotel
in Chiang Mai.
Day 17:ChiengMai city tour (B)
Breakfast at hotel
07h30 Depart from your hotel in Chiang Mai by private local
truck for Lisu Lodge
09h00 Arrive at the Lisu Lodge and start the trip with a 13
km. (8 miles) of cycling to the Elephant Camp.
Enjoy an hour of elephant riding through the mountainous
jungle scenery down to the river.
After a healthy picnic lunch on the bank of the river, you
will go on an exciting ride, about 45 minutes
of white water rafting that takes you to a traditional Thai
country village.From there you return to Lisu
Lodge either by bike or by local truck, whichever way you
prefer yourself. On the way back, we stop
at the traditional Akha village for a chat with shaman
(spirit doctor).
16h00 Arrive at Lisu Lodge and transfer back to your hotel
in Chiang Mai by private local truck.
Day 18:Chieng Mai – Bangkok – Yagoon (B)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Bangkok to connect
with your flight to Yagoon.
Greetings in Yagoon, transfer to your hotel in town.
Day 19:Yangon - Bagan (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for a morning
flight to Bagan. On arrival, visit Nyaung Oo colorful local
market, Shwezigon – proto type of Myanmar stupa, Gubyauk Gyi
– 13th century finest mural paintings, and Htilominlo – the
finest stucco carving. Afternoon visit the Saraba gate – 9th
century masonry city gate, Ananda – most beautiful temple in
Bagan, Ananda Okkyaung – 17th century mural painting,
Mingaba Gubyaukgyi – early 12th century mural paintings,
Manuha and Nan Phayar – one of the two sand stone temples in
Bagan, sunset from a temple’s terrace or optional horse cart
ride among the temples during sunset.
Lunch at hotel.
Puppet show and Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 20:Bagan (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel. Optional sunrise view from a temple
terrace. Morning walk along the temples avenue: from
Mimalaung Kyaung to Pahtotharmyar, Nat Hlaung Kyaung,
Ngekywe Nadaung, and Thetbinnyu temple – the highest temple
in Bagan, and Shwegugyi temple – famous for Bagan style
Buddha Statue. Then continue to visit Nagayon temple – late
11th century standing Buddha Image protecting by Dragons,
proceed to New Bagan to visit a lacquer ware workshop.
Afternoon visit Dammayangi – the most massive temple,
Dhamayarzaka – one of the few stupas with 5 entrances in
Bagan, Minanthu village and its temples - Phayar
Thonezu and Nandamanya temple – 13th century finest mural
paintings, sunset view from a temple terrace.
Lunch at a local restaurant located on the Ayeyarwaddy River
bank.
Dinner at hotel.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 21:Bagan - Yangon (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to the airport for a
flight to Yangon. On arrival Yangon transfer to your hotel
after a visit of Naga Glass factory where all the glass
wares are made by hands. Afternoon visit famous
Bogyoke Aung San Market where one can find all kinds of
everything from Myanmar exotic snack to precious Mogok
Rubies, enjoy among the city people’s shopping.
Continue visit the spice market in Indian town,
inter-connecting with the shop keepers who are eager to show
you their numerous kinds of goods. From there walk ten
minutes to bustling China town to see the oldest Chinese
temple in town, stroll around the China town’s famous food
streets.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Dinner at hotel.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 22:Yangon – Bangkok – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free of leisure until transfer to
the airport for your flight to Bangkok, connect with yoru
flight back home.
