DAY 01: SAIGON -CAIBE -CANTHO (L)
This morning you will be met at 08.00am by your driver to begin your journey south into the heart of the Mekong Delta. En route, pass farmers tending their fields and drying their produce on the sides of the road. Visit Caibe. On arrival at Can Tho check into your beautiful French colonial style hotel situated on the banks of the Mekong River. Overnight at Victoria Cantho Hotel

DAY 02: CANTHO (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel.
This morning board your boat for a visit to the fascinating floating market at Cai Rang. See local farmers trading their produce on the water as they have done for centuries. Continue on to a fruit orchard where you can sample some of the tropical fruits grown in this region, then enjoy a relaxing walk through the local village of Binh Thuy. Next stop is the Khmer temple of Pothisomrom in the town of O Mon. Pothisomrom provides a rare opportunity for you to learn more about the long history and relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia. Take the afternoon at leisure.

DAY 03: CANTHO -CHAUDOC (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel.
This morning drive deeper into the Mekong Delta with a visit to a local village which specialises in making bamboo baskets. You will have a unique opportunity to discover a side of Delta life that few travellers experience. Continue on to the nearby Stork Sanctuary where you can see thousands of storks nesting in a beautiful natural environment. Arrive in the riverside town of Chau Doc around lunchtime, enjoying typical rural scenery en route. After lunch, take a walk around the town and see the bustling market, then continue to Sam Mountain, with its breathtaking views over the rice paddies to the Cambodian border. Overnight in Chau Doc.

DAY 04: CHAUDOC -PHNOMPENH (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Take a speed boat to Phnompenh. The end of services.
