Day1: Arrival in Ho
Chi Minh City
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Meet and transfer
to hotel. Coach tour to visit: War Remnants Museum,
Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Giac Lam Pagoda and
lacquer workshop. Overnight in HCMC.
Day 2: HCMC - My Tho -
HCMC
AM: Driving to My Tho (75 kms). Boat
trip on Mekong River, visit to local homes, orchards
and sampan ride on creeks. PM: Return to HCMC.
Evening: Dinner and folk show on Saigon Boat.
Overnight in HCMC.
Day 3: HCMC - Dalat
AM: Driving to Suoi Tien (150 kms). Refreshment &
refueling. PM: Onwards to Dalat, stopover at Prenn
Pass (150 kms). overnight in Dalat.
Day 4: Dalat - Nha
Trang
AM: Driving around Dalat to visit
Flower garden, Lovers' valley and Linh Phuoc Pagoda.
Driving to Phan Rang (110 kms), down to Ngoan Muc
Pass to visit Po Klong Garai Towers. Refreshment &
refueling in Phan Rang. PM: Transfer to Nha Trang
(130 kms). overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang
Full day cruise to offshore islands:
At leisure, snorkeling, sea-bathing and sunbathing.
overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang -
Buon Ma Thuot
AM: Driving to Buon Ma Thuot (180
kms), crossing Phuong Hoang Pass. PM: Visiting Lak
Lake by coach. Elephant ride through M'nong minority
villages and canoe ride on Lak Lake. overnight in
Buon Ma Thuot.
Day 7: Buon Ma Thuot -
Pleiku
AM: Driving to Pleiku (180 kms). Refreshment &
refueling in Pleiku. PM: Visit to Dektu minority
village by coach. Bana gong and dancing show. Return
to and overnight in Pleiku.
Day 8: Pleiku - Qui
Nhon
AM: Driving to Phu Phong (130 kms), and down Mang
Yang Pass. Refreshment & refueling at Phu Phong.
Visit to Tay Son Museum followed by martial arts
show and Duong Long Towers. PM: Driving to Qui Nhon
(70 kms). At leisure on beach. overnight in Qui Nhon.
Day 9: Qui Nhon - Hoi
An
AM: Driving to Sa Huynh (110 kms).
Refreshment & refueling at Sa Huynh. Onwards to
Quang Ngai (60 kms). PM: Driving to Hoi An (100 kms),
stop over at Chien Dan Towers. Evening: Cultural
show. overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An - Hue
AM: Stroll in ancient town to see fish market,
temples, old houses. Driving to Danang (30 kms),
visit to stone-carving village and Cham Museum. PM:
Driving to Hue (110 kms). Evening: Hue folk show on
Perfume River. overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue
Full day sightseeing of Hue by coach to visit
Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market. PM: Visit to Tu
Duc & Khai Dinh Tombs. Transfer to Thien Mu Pagoda.
Sunset boat rides on Perfume River back to Hue.
overnight in Hue.
Day 12: Hue - Dong Hoi
AM: Driving to Dong Ha (95 kms).
Refreshment & refueling, Onwards to Tung estuary (30
kms), stop over at former DMZ. PM: Driving to Vinh
Moc Village (10 kms), visit to tunnels. Onwards to
Dong Hoi (100 kms). overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 13: Dong Hoi-Vinh
AM: Driving to Ky Anh (100 kms),
crossing Ngang Pass. Refreshment & refueling at Ky
Anh. Continue to Ha Tinh (50 kms). PM: Driving to
Cua Lo (70 kms). At leisure on beach. overnight in
Cua Lo.
Day 14: Vinh-Ninh Binh
AM: Driving to Kim Lien (15 kms), visits of
President Ho Chi Minh's native village. Onwards to
Thanh Hoa (170 kms). Refreshment & refueling in
Thanh Hoa. PM: Driving to Ninh Binh (60 kms).
overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 15: Ninh
Binh-Hanoi
AM: Driving to Hoa Lu (10 kms) to
visit Dinh & Le dynasty temples. Driving on village
road (12 kms) to Tam Coc, sampan ride to Tam Coc
Caves. PM: Driving to Hanoi (100 kms). overnight in
Hanoi.
Day 16: Hanoi
Full day sightseeing of Hanoi by coach. AM: Visits
of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, One-Pillar
Pagoda, History Museum and Temple of Literature. PM:
Visiting Bat Trang pottery village, Old Quarters and
pedicab tour (1 hour) around town. overnight in
Hanoi.
Day 17: Departure from
Hanoi
Downtown shopping (ceramics,
silver-carvings, and silk...) or at leisure before
check-out. Transfer to airport for departure.
