Greetings Ms Mai Trang,
It was so nice to meet you and other people in your office.
It was Bob’s and my first trip to Vietnam and Cambodia so we did enjoy all the places we visited and the people we met.
The trip was so well organised, we were always met by the tour guides and the drivers. They were such lovely people and a joy to be with. Everything ran on time.
The guide and driver that took us out to school were amazing and they so enjoyed themselves being part of the excitement of our visit.
So enjoyed the train trip to Sapa. Sorry it was fogged in most of the time we were there but one cannot do anything about that. It was a welcome time out from the cities.
As you will know we did not do the long 8 hour drive from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and arranged a flight. I think that was a good idea.
All eating places that your guides recommended were excellent and they cheerfully took us to eating places that we chose.
It was a fast, full on 21 days but we did see so much of your lovely country and we are very happy.
